Eligibility for regular membership into the AMVETS, is open to ALL veterans who have honorably served or presently serving in the Armed Forces.

AMVETS is truly a family organization. Wives, mothers, grandmothers,sisters,daughters and granddaughters of AMVETS are eligible for membership in the AMVETS Auxilary.

All male decendants, adopted sons, grandsons, and stepsons of members of AMVETS and deceased members, or serviceman who died and who would have been eligible for membership in AMVETS may join the SONS of AMVETS.
