AMVETS Post 248, is both honored and proud to be the first chartered AMVETS post in Monroe County. The mission of Post 248 is to preserve freedoms secured by America's armed forces and in enhancing the quality of life for all veterans and our hometown citizens.

AMVETS Post 248, members involve themselves in a range of initiatives aimed at helping our veterans. We also serve our local community, and offer training of our youth in becoming purposeful citizens in our democracy.

We invite you to join our hometown post. Membership is open to ALL veterans who have honorably served in the Armed Forces or service men and women who are presently serving.

Our meetings are held at VFW Post 3448, 440 Sterling Road, Tobyhanna, PA 18466, on the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 7 p.m.
